Nomaya started with a simple feeling: we couldn’t find a place that had everything we were looking for.
We had traveled, stayed in surf camps, joined yoga retreats, worked from coworking spaces… and every time, something was missing.
Either there was surf but no real community, yoga but no space to connect, or coworking without the energy of sharing life together.
So we decided to create it ourselves.
A place where people could surf, do yoga, work if they need to, and above all connect. A house that feels alive, where solo travelers never feel alone, and where every night can turn into rooftop dinners, music, or just conversations that last for hours.
The goal was never to build just a surf hotel.
The idea was to create a community, one that’s open, inspiring, and fun. A place where you can arrive as a stranger and leave with new friends, new memories, and maybe even new ideas for your life.

At Nomaya, surfers of all levels are welcome. Whether you are a complete beginner, an intermediate rider looking to improve, or an advanced surfer searching for consistent waves, our experienced instructors adapt each session to your skills. Beginners can learn the basics safely, while more advanced surfers benefit from tailored coaching and local guidance to discover the best breaks.
Nomaya serves fresh, healthy, and locally inspired meals. Yes, Nomaya provides options for guests with food allergies or special dietary needs. Please let us know your requirements before your arrival.
Yes, children aged 6 years and older are welcome at Nomaya. Families can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, nature, and beach activities together. For surfing lessons, children must meet minimum safety requirements, and our instructors will assess readiness individually to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience in the water. So if you travel with a child please let us know before your arrival.
Yes, Nomaya offers long-term stay options year-round, including outside the hot season. During quieter months, guests can enjoy a slower pace of life, uncrowded surf sessions, yoga, nature walks, cultural experiences, and community living by the ocean. Contact us for more informations !
